    : THE PRESENT PERFECT ( Subject + Have / Has + Past Participle

    (1) an action finished without a definite point of time: (up to now, up to the present, so far , not … yet , for, since, ever , never, several times , just , recently , lately… )
    -Have you ever seen a tiger ?
    -The train has not arrived yet.
    - The bell has just rung.
    (2) An action happened in the past and continue to the present time. ( since , for)
    - We have lived here for six years.
    - He has learned Spanish since 1998.

    : THE PRESENT PERFECT PASSIVE ( Subject + Have / Has + been + Past Participle

    - A new bridge has been built across the river.
    - So far many problems have been solved.

    : RELATIVE PRONOUNS : WHO, WHICH, THAT

    - WHO is used for persons
    - WHICH is used for things and animals
    - THAT is used in place of WHO or WHICH
    - A clock is an instrument which (that ) tells you the time.
    - A nurse is a person who (that) looks after patients.
    EXERCISE I. Complete the second sentence so that it follows on from the first. Use the present perfect.
    1. My hair is tidy now. I’ve brushed my hair.
