    * Practice reading aloud this dialogue:




    2.Grammar
    a/ COULD/ BE ABLE TO
    Ex: - Mr. Long was a very intelligent man. He could speak 5 languages.
    - His leg hurt but he was able to run fast.
    * Form:
    S + could (not) + V0
    S + was/ were able to + V0
    * Usage:
    - “could” is used to express an ability in the past.
    - “was/ were able to” is used to express an effort to do something.
    b/ TAG QUESTIONS (revision)
    Ex:
    It is a nice day, isn’t it?
    They aren’t hungry, are they?
    You live in Tan chau, don’t you?
    You don’t speak English, do you?
    * FORM:
